This is a kitten playing with a toy and growling/purring.

There's two sounds in this file. I've recorded a british shorthair cat purring near his face, then i've moved the microphone to record from the chest. The recording was made using a zoom h5 portable recorder with a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. The recording was made on the 15th june 2022.

To my amazement my cat decided to do somethign useful and actually came up to the bowl and started drinking the water. . . . . . Unfortunately i wasnt close mic'd - but my little booth is pretty quiet. . . . So thankyou oscar! you finally got a job to help pay for all those biscuits! technically he was no where near the large diaphragm cap mic , focusrite pre or motu 2408 :p.
